Founded in 1896, the Michigan Optometric Association (MOA) is one of the state’s oldest organizations and was created to provide leadership for the development of optometrists to provide comprehensive eye care for patients in the state of Michigan.
Our partnership with the MOA began in January 2022, and we worked quickly to assist in revamping their collateral and social media graphics.
We updated the MOA’s annual report, transforming it from a basic Word document into a thoughtfully designed piece that better represents the MOA’s vision and goals. Held at the Great Lakes Eyecare Conference, the MOA’s annual meeting inspired the design, which now features imagery of the event’s venue and the state of Michigan, bringing local character into the report.
Founded on Feb. 1, 1898, the Michigan Association of Counties (MAC) is the only statewide organization dedicated to the representation of all county commissioners in Michigan. MAC is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that advances education, communication, and cooperation among county government officials in Michigan. MAC is the counties’ voice at the state and federal level, providing legislative support on key issues affecting counties.
After years of publishing Michigan Counties, their bimonthly magazine, exclusively in a digital format, MAC listened closely to member feedback and made the bold decision to return to a printed and mailed version. This shift provided an exciting opportunity to reimagine the magazine’s entire look and feel. We collaborated closely with MAC’s team to craft a fresh, dynamic design that reflects the organization’s values while appealing to its diverse readership. The new format was met with enthusiastic approval from members, and the buzz around the redesign led to a substantial boost in advertising revenue—an incredible testament to the power of print and a well-executed design strategy.
Since 1912, the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce has served as the transformational leader and trusted voice of the region’s business community.
Tandem has been a trusted partner of the LRCC for many years, collaborating on FOCUS magazine and various other communication initiatives aimed at amplifying the Chamber’s impact. In 2021, we had the privilege of designing the Chamber’s annual report, a key document that celebrated their remarkable achievements during one of the most challenging periods in recent history, the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the unprecedented obstacles, the report showcases the Chamber’s resilience, adaptability, and the essential role it played in supporting local businesses through turbulent times. With the pandemic behind them, the LRCC continues to thrive, remaining steadfast in its commitment to advancing the Greater Lansing business community and fostering economic growth for years to come.
