Founded on Feb. 1, 1898, the Michigan Association of Counties (MAC) is the only statewide organization dedicated to the representation of all county commissioners in Michigan. MAC is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that advances education, communication and cooperation among county government officials in Michigan. MAC is the counties’ voice at the state and federal level, providing legislative support on key issues affecting counties.
After publishing Michigan Counties, their bimonthly magazine in an electronic-only format for years, MAC decided to move to a printed and mailed format based on membership feedback. With this decision, we worked with MAC staff to develop a new look and feel for Michigan Counties. The redesign was extremely well-received, and as a result, advertising revenue has significantly increased.
